My first public performance with my SP-555 was a super fun collaboration with Greg Bem as EMBARREGG for uncarbopo (unpoetry meets Carbonation Press) at Casa del Xolo in Fremont.

The event was celebrating a new release by Eric M. Acosta: Carbonation Press 004: underbelly. I provided ambient soundscapes underneath Greg’s spoken word reading of ‘Bright & Cruel’ using my sampler in addition to a really cool soundmaking device called a chompi.
